With its 30th anniversary nearly upon us (next year), we decided to revisit Luc Besson's classic The Fifth Element, starring Mila Jovovich and Bruce Willis! Is it all that and a bad o' chips still, even when being viewed through our 2026 lenses? Tune in to get our take on this weird but memorable 90s Sci-Fi hit!

After watching Moonlight last week, Derek and I decided to watch Green Book for this week's Double Take, since we can't get enough of Mahershala Ali now! And boy do we have some things to say! The 2017 Oscar goof announcing La La Land as the winner of Best Picture when it was actually Moonlight that won...still resonates today! So we watched Moonlight, and we're gonna talk about it! It had been 75 years since Disney's Alice in Wonderland showed us what was deep down in the rabbit hole. Now we took another classic from that same era, and watched The Sword in the Stone! I do have many fond memories of this animated film as a child...and it's literally been that long since I've seen it! So does it have that same magical feeling? Or has adulting tainted that magic? 😅 Check it out!

At least that's what I thought when I first saw Ocean's Eleven 25 years ago!
